For the SS'24 collection, SAYYA, staying true to her style, found inspiration in the works of artist David Hockney. Bright color palettes, which can be seen on his canvases, became the source of rich shades of the collection.

On the eve of the New Year holidays, the SAYYA brand presented a collection in shades of black and the Star constellation in honor of the coming year. The new drop is dedicated to the upcoming Year of the Dragon - the collection features voluminous warm hoodies and a t-shirt with a cosmic constellation on the chest.

Lyuba Makarenko (Sayya): They were surprised three times. First, that there is fashion in Ukraine. Second, that everyone in Ukraine works during the war. Third, that things created during the war are cheerful! (Smiles.)

JAN

Julia Comil chose a flowy purple skirt (is it leather or is it satin?) and a blue shirt with buttons and a large flower, processed in the fabric. That's something different than a subtle brooch. We like!

With fashion shows by several Ukrainian designers, such as Sayya, as well as a showroom in the concept store dedicated entirely to promoting Ukrainian brands that keep producing and creating in Ukraine, the importance of events like this is elevated to a social level and gives Tbilisi Fashion Week a whole new and transcendental meaning and an impact that most fashion weeks lack.

SAYYA T-shirt. It seems that the perfect formula for a comfortable glow during the New Year holidays has been found! A warm T-shirt, decorated with hand-made Swarowski crystals, from the new limited SAYYA collection will be a great alternative to tops and corsets. Combine with elegant translucent trousers for a special occasion or with jeans, vegan dresses and leggings for everyday looks.

The New Year's collection of the SAYYA brand turned out to be very symbolic - it is dedicated to the black water rabbit, which will be the symbol of the coming 2023. That is why the entire collection is made in dark shades, which is very atypical for the brand, whose collections are always filled with bright colors.

With the onset of cold weather, it is worth thinking about a bright sweater of coarse knitting. Such models will not only warm, but also improve the mood of their owner. This is exactly the sweater that can be found in the SAYYA collection. The brand also decorated its model with buttons with sparkling stones.

In the new season, the SAYYA team continues to explore the Bright Basics concept, building the collection around the fashion heritage of the 60s and 70s.

The patchwork technique in the hands of Lyuba Makarenko, the founder of the SAYYA brand, looks not like an artisanal craft, but like the work of a cubist artist. The designer relies on mixing a variety of prints and shades in one coat, and compensates for this mix with a laconic cut without unnecessary details.

This time, designer Lyuba Makarenko decided to dedicate her new collection to an unusual journey through time. And she went straight to the 20th century to remember the courage of two of the brightest decades – the 1960s and 1970s.

The period of moral freedom was reflected in the relaxed silhouettes, the color scheme of the collection, three-piece suits made of eco-leather, in a series of printed dresses, tops and skirts.

Yellow is called the color of life. This bright hue is reminiscent of the sun, sunflowers, wildflowers, and gold. A strong, cheerful, and happy color, it's just what you need this summer to boost your serotonin levels.
